Kevin began his career through self taught experimentation and motivation. He started with a curiosity for animation creating his first "still cartoon" at eleven years old before graduating to the record and pause method with his VHS camcorder. That experimentation continued and brought him to film school at the New York Film Academy where he made short films and afterwards continued working on live action films.
Being inspired by Takashi Murakami and other artists Kevin then tried to expand his animation into fine art pieces realizing they could stand alone as finished works. Through them he uses colorful design to punctuate philosophical ideas around character creation. Creating a narrative through visual elements by exploring the idea of relationships of character and emotion. Recently, he has moved to Boston where he continues to explore his art making process.
